Synaptic Mutant is pretty balanced now. You can't just roll down on 3-2 for a Malz 2 and win the game. That doesn't mean its bad though, as a single Mutant Emblem can open up a ton of possibilities. One classic is the Ahri who goes down to 10 mana and spams like crazy. We manage to pull it off here for a strong comp!
