Every game has its superstars.

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok has been the face of competitive League of Legends the player to beat -- for years.

But it was one of the Unkillable Demon King’s most soul-crushing defeats that inspired a new champion to rise up.

And Heo “ShowMaker” Su didn’t want to just be the next Faker -- he wanted to be a legend in his own right.

After Damwon’s Worlds 2020 victory, all eyes were on ShowMaker and his team.

But could an up-and-coming, young player ever truly hope to overtake the GOAT and claim League’s throne?

And would Faker even be the final boss?
