One of the effects done for latest League of Legends cinematic at Trizz.
Idea was to mimic slow motion to some degree, to have only some element animated, but main part have almost static.
Done with 3dsmax PFlow, FumeFX and Krakatoa. What is cool that it can be meshed with latest Thinkbox Frost v2 and can get vertex color directly from magma manipulated PRT container. So basically you can light actual scene with Krakatoa rendered effects. Just love it!
