CS:GO Ranks Just Got Very Weird... - Video

So, this past Monday the CS:GO devs woke up and, in typical Valve fashion, decided out of nowhere that they were just going to randomly reset everyone’s ranks.

Now, for all of the unfortunate souls who’d spent years stuck in Silver - which, in North America, was like 50% of the player base - this was a good thing.

It meant you could start fresh on a clean slate and, over time, work your way up to a respectable rank. Or, you know, get Global after playing one, single calibration match.
